Is Social Suppers a membership based club?
Not at all, Social Suppers is open to everyone. There are no minimum session commitments or purchase commitments. You create a login so that you can keep track of what you have ordered and view cooking instructions, nutritional information, and more in our Member area.
How do I register for a Social Suppers session?
Start off by creating an account, then you can choose a location and browse available sessions or walk-in times on the store's calendar.
You can make a reservation to come in and make your meals or you can order assembled meals for pick-up all online.
How / when do I pay?
Payment is made when you register online or in the store at pick up. We accept Mastercard, Visa, Discover, Checks, and Cash. Oh, and Gift Certificates!
How do I cancel?
Call our store (store locations). Please cancel 3 days in advance so we can offer the time slot to another Social Supper's customer.
What if I am sick on the day of my session?
Social Supper's follows all ServSafe Guidelines in storing and preparing your food. We want to make sure everyone enjoys fresh, healthy meals. In order to do this, we request that you call us (store locations) if you're sick and we'll reschedule your session.
How is it possible to make so many meals in such little time?
Social Suppers does all the meal planning, shopping, chopping, and clean-up. It's amazing how much time this will free up!
How many people will these meals serve?
All Full size recipes are designed for 6 servings; you'll get 6 chicken breasts or 6 fish filets, etc. unless otherwise noted. Casseroles may serve more.
Six portions are too large for my family. Do I have any options?
Definitely! You can choose Half size meals.
What if my family doesn't seem interested in some of this month's meals?
A great solution is to double up on your favorite choices from the menu.
I'm on a diet, how can I eat Social Supper's meals and stay on program?
On the menu page we offer nutritional information on each dish along with some quick reference icons so that you can quickly choose meals that are healthy. All nutritional information is based on the serving size we have listed on the menu. If you are on the Weight Watcher's* program, we offer fat/fiber/cal numbers that match the Points system developed by Weight Watchers.*

The number of POINTS® provided for our meals is calculated by Social Suppers based on published Weight Watchers International, Inc., information and does not imply sponsorship or endorsement of such number of POINTS® or Social Suppers products by Weight Watchers International, Inc.
Can I use Social Suppers if I have food allergies?
Food allergies are a big concern for many Social Suppers customers. Social Suppers uses icons under each nutritional page to help quickly view common allergens. On prepared foods, we will be happy to read ingredients lists to customers who call each local kitchen. All customers are also welcome to leave out any ingredients that may be questionable and replace with a similar ingredient from our kitchen or at home.
Given the proximity of all of our ingredients, it is impossible for Social Suppers to guarantee that there will not be cross contamination from potential allergens. We ask that each guest make a determination on whether our service is right for them based on the severity of their allergy and potential concerns. For any allergy questions, please contact your local Social Suppers kitchen (store locations).
What if I'm very picky about what my family eats?
This is a great question! Social Suppers is constantly working to find the best quality for every ingredient that goes into our meals. We purchase our meat from a local meat company that dry ages their beef for exceptional tenderness. Although not organic, our chicken and fish are hormone free. Our menu is trans-fat free and we are working to eliminate high fructose corn syrup wherever possible. (It's still in our ketchup - darn it!) We offer brown rice and wheat pasta whenever possible along with whole wheat buns. We use fresh vegetables when they are the best for freezing or frozen on a few that work better from frozen. No matter what the ingredient, you can trust that Social Suppers is focused on making it healthy, nutritious, and high quality.
Can I make substitutions on meals?
Absolutely! If your family is not a fan of pork, we will gladly allow you to change to chicken breasts or vice versa. We ask that you notify the store a minimum of 3 days prior to your session so that the ingredients can be purchased and prepared for you. In addition, there may be a slight fee for organic or more expensive meat items.
Why don't you use organic?
Currently the majority of the items we purchase are not available in food service quantities that are organic. As the trend continues, we hope that we will eventually be able to transition to all organic ingredients.
Does Social Suppers offer vegetarian meals?
Each month we typically have a few meals that are without meat or can be modified without meat. Please call your local kitchen for ideas on each month's menu.
Can I bring a friend or child with me?
Some of our best customers are . . . children! It is a fun and unique evening to spend time with your child preparing meals for the month. Kids love customizing their own meals! Please list your friend or child when you sign up in the Guests area. That way our owners know to plan for an additional person around the prep stations.
